Portfolio Evaluation
The Network is committed to sharing learning and promoting best practice, and has therefore commissioned an evaluation of the Wellbeing Portfolio. This is being undertaken by Hall Aitken and will take place over the lifetime of the Portfolio.

The first evaluation report and supporting legacy papers have now been published and are available on our resources page. The report demonstrates that the Portfolio is performing well and is on track to achieve its original aims. Through the evaluation process, themes have been identified and used to form legacy papers which highlight key issues and areas of learning generated from projects and the Portfolio. Recent legacy papers focus on project management, sustainability, partnership working and engaging beneficiaries.

Hall Aitken also deliver 2 workshops each year to support projects in the evaluation process. The most recent workshop focused on providing wellbeing projects with an introduction to commissioning. The Network will be supporting this further with a small piece of research regarding the capability and capacity of community health providers to respond to World Class Commissioing. This research wil be used to inform work currently underway by NHS North West and the North West Centre for Transformation in Health and Wellbeing to develop a commissiong toolkit for health and wellbeing.
